Action Painting & Cleaning specializes in corrosion resistant tank lining applications for water storage, chemical processing, and industrial containment. We maintain all major specifications on file—including AWWA, FDA, USDA, and Corps of Engineers standards—ensuring every project meets or exceeds regulatory requirements. All work is fully documented and available for third party inspection.
Interior Lining
Surfaces are solvent cleaned and abrasive blasted to SSPC-SP 5 / NACE No. 1 (White Metal Blast Cleaning) specification. The interior is then coated with 16–20 mils DFT of polyamide coal tar epoxy, measured per SSPC-PA 2, providing a seamless barrier against corrosion, chemicals, and water infiltration for years of reliable service.
Exterior Coating
Exterior surfaces are solvent cleaned and blasted to NACE #3 (Commercial Blast) specification. A 4–6 mil DFT epoxy primer is applied, followed by a finish coat of acrylic catalyzed polyurethane for outstanding UV resistance, color retention, and long-term weatherability.
